In a highly contested match Celtic managed to comeback to win the game against Aberdeen after losing the lead and got back to their winning ways.

Both teams started the match equal with a battle mostly in midfield. And from the off Israeli international Biram Kayal had close contact with goal with a venomous shot from distance which whizzed by Dons goalkeepr Gonzalez.

Aberdeen countered Celtic's next attacks and almost went ahead but Fraser Forster matched every effort.

Then, after 17 minutes Anthony Stokes managed to fight his way through the Aberdeen backline to float a backpass into Biram Kayal who was able to poke it to Gary Hooper who placed a perfect pass across the box to South Korean Ki Sung Yeung who side footed a shot into the left corner of Gonzalez's goal.

Aberdeen had a claim for a penalty when a freekick was lofted into the Celtic box and Scott Vernon went down after contact with Swedesh centre back Daniel Majstorovic (who was put on after an early injury to Glenn Loovens). But referee Steve O'Reilly waved off any claim from the Aberdeen player.

Unfortunately in the crowd there was a disturbance when a Celtic supporter in area 113 took ill from what fans were saying was a seizure and needed immediate medical help from paramedics. The noise created by the crowd, who at the moment were chanting a new Charlie Mulgrew song, went silent and watched on as the man got medical treatment. Thankfully, the man recovered after treatment and managed to walk down the steps and before leaving the stadium raised his fist to the Aberdeen fans which sparked an applause from the Celtic crowd.

In the second half Adam Matthews received a short pass from Gary Hooper who ran down the right wing and whipped in a low cross which fell to goalscorer Ki Sung Yueng but the midfielder couldn't connect right with the ball and went past the goal.

After trickery from Ki he placed a pass to Joe Ledley cross the ball in but ex Rangers defender Richard Foster couldn't clear and the ball fell cleanly to Gary Hooper just outside the box side footed a weak shot which was deflected into the hands of Gonzalez.

Aberdeen had another penalty claim denied when Aberdeen's Milson hit a shot which bounced of Mulgrew but the claim of handball was debatable but not for the referee.

Aberdeen Full Back Ryan Jack managed to dribble past Joe Ledley and Victor Wanyama with ease and managed to enter the Celtic box and hit a shot which wasn't dealt with the Celtic defence and creeped into the bottom right corner of Fraser Forster's goal which was a needed equalizer for Aberdeen. Ryan Jack was then booked for his over-dramatic celebration.

Celtic had a great chance after losing the goal when Beram Kayal passed the ball to Adam Matthews who tried a 30 yard strike which was just saved and no more by the palm of Gonzalez.

James Forrest played a short cross into the 6 yard box for Gary Hooper to nod in but unfortunately Hooper couldn't reach it.

A Celtic Freekick taken by Ki Sung Yueng was hit into the centre of the Aberdeen box but was poorly cleared and Centre Back Charlie Mulgrew shrugged off pressure to hit a wild shot from close range which hit the back of the net at the top right of the goal and Celtic were back in the lead. Mulgrew was also booked for his celebration antics.

Gary Hooper ran down the left of midfield and was violently tackled by Aberdeen goalscorer Ryan Jack and was booked for the second time and red carded which let Jack leave the field for an early bath.

Paddy McCourt replaced Victor Wanyama and from the off McCourt went on his trademark mazy run and ran to the edge of the right hand post but couldn't manage t find the net with his shot.
